Veterinary Technicians Needed
We are currently seeking an experienced, hard-working, and personable veterinary technician to join our team! LVT or CVT certification is preferred but not required with qualifying experience. Must possess a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task, a passion for animals and people, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Large animal experience a plus but not required.
Part-time or full-time positions available must be able to work some Saturdays. Compensation will depend on the level of experience.
Job Description Requirements
- Provides compassionate care for patients.
- Taking patient histories and performing physical exams.
- Collecting samples (blood, urine, fecal, etc.) for lab tests & placing IV catheters
- Preparing patients and instruments for surgery.
- Assisting with surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
- Educating pet owners about their pet’s health and care.
- Maintaining medical records.
- Sterilizing equipment and cleaning the facility.
- Assists in restraining pets, horses, and large animals.
